Program Details

BCAH participantsBCAH is designed for public health professionals who are ready to take their management skills to the next level. Our program includes thoughtfully selected programming, microlearning opportunities, guided application activities, and a capstone project. These elements are crafted to ensure that you not only gain knowledge but also learn how to apply it in your daily work effectively.

Program Eligibility

The BCAH program is open to public health practitioners in middle management who are currently employed at a state health department. If you work for a local health department, please complete an application, as we will consider it, space permitting.

What is the cost of the program?

This program is currently offered, free of charge.

How much time is expected for this program?

You can expect to spend approximately five (5) hours per week on program related activities, to include weekly synchronous virtual sessions, and some asynchronous pre-session work.

What will I get from participating?

In addition to a framed certificate and digital badge that signifies your completion of the Building Capacity to Advance Health certificate program, you will leave with enhanced competencies, a robust professional network, and practical resources to drive meaningful impact in public health equity efforts.

If I am accepted for the program, can I defer to a later offering?

Unfortunately, we are not able to hold future spots. You will be required to complete a new application to be considered for a future program offering.
