Upcoming Events

ASTHO hosts several marquee conferences and meetings each year. Annual flagship events include Washington Week, Annual Meeting and Policy Summit, TechXpo, Health Equity Summit, the Insight and Inspiration series, and our summer and winter member leadership retreats. All events are supported through formal presentations, breakout sessions, panel discussions, and exhibits. In addition to the knowledge participants receive, these events are exceptional networking opportunities. Events are provided virtually, in hybrid environments, and in-person formats.

    Early Warning Signs: Health and Disease Surveillance using the National Biosurveillance Integration Center
    The National Biosurveillance Integration Center (NBIC) integrates, analyzes, and distributes key information about health and disease events to help ensure the nation's responses are well-informed, save lives, and minimize economic impact. In session 3 of the National Preparedness Month Webinar Series, NBIC will highlight their role in serving as a bridge between federal, state, local, territorial, and tribal partners to integrate information from thousands of sources about current and emerging biological threats to human, animal, plant, and environmental health, improving early warning and situational awareness. NBIC will highlight their resources and technical assistance available to SLTT partners.
