In honor of Public Health Thank You Day, ASTHO President Steven Stack, Commissioner of the Kentucky Department for Public Health, shares a message of gratitude to all of the hardworking public health professionals that help keep the nation healthy and well.

Hello, I’m Dr. Steven Stack, the president of ASTHO and the Commissioner for Public Health for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. It’s a great joy to be here today to wish you a very happy Public Health Thank You Day.
On behalf of the leadership of ASTHO and fellow state health officials, I want to thank you for all you do to ensure that every American has the opportunity to reach their full human potential, and that we work so hard together to ensure that promote healthier communities and healthier people around the nation. It is such a joy to be part of this mission-driven community who is so giving of themselves to help ensure that others have the best possible opportunity in their lives to reach their full human potential.
So, on behalf of all of us here at ASTHO, thank you so much for all you do. Please know that we are here to support you and we are among your biggest cheerleaders. And please just know how grateful we are for all the work you do each and every day.
