Cross Sector Collaborations: Addressing Health Inequities in Access to Care Through Public Health and Transportation Partnerships

This report addresses how state and territorial health agencies can develop and sustain partnerships to address community transportation needs to support access to care. ASTHO, in partnership with the University of Washington, researched four state-level case examples that demonstrate how cross-sector collaborations can support transportation initiatives through flexible funding strategies, formalized partnerships, and policy support.
