Enhancing and Strengthening Public Health

ASTHO and the Satcher Health Leadership Institute (SHLI) at Morehouse School of Medicine, with support from CDC, invite you to apply to the Diverse Executives Leading in Public Health (DELPH) program. This new program will increase and strengthen participants’ visibility and exposure in public health systems, access to key networks, and leadership development opportunities.

Program participants will be selected from experienced public health professionals who self-identify from an underrepresented group, including people of color, people with disabilities, women, and LGBTQ+ individuals.

This is a 12-month program with three in-person events.

  • Washington Week - Washington, D.C. (February 2022)
  • Trip to CDC - Atlanta, Georgia (July 2022)
  • Graduation - Washington, D.C. (September 2022)
Participation in these events is a requirement for participation in the program. The program will continue to monitor and adhere to travel guidance from CDC regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.

Goals of the Program
