12:30-12:50 p.m. | Welcome and Event Orientation
Overview of performance management and how it can help health agencies connect priorities, data, and improvement. Participants will also hear what to expect from the showcase and how to engage throughout the event.
12:50- 1:35 p.m. | Using Data to Advance Public Health Performance with Metopio
Most health agencies, whether state, territorial, or local, have a health assessment, an improvement plan, and a portfolio of programs meant to deliver on it. Far fewer have an easy way to see, in real time, whether those programs are on track. Join Metopio for a look at the full public health improvement cycle, including a first look at Metopio's newest module, Performance Management & Quality Improvement.
You'll hear from public health practitioners who have automated parts of their improvement cycle, including Erica Bird of Madison County (New York) and Carleigh Olson of Madison-Dane County (Wisconsin). They'll share how connecting assessment, planning, and program tracking has changed their day-to-day work. You'll leave with a clearer picture of what a connected improvement cycle could look like for your own agency.
1:35-2:20 p.m. | Aligning Public Health Goals with AchieveIt
Public health agencies are often managing multiple strategic priorities, plans, and accountability requirements for grant-funded programs at the same time. AchieveIt helps bring these efforts together in one performance management system, connecting initiatives such as strategic plans, Community and State Health Improvement Plans, Public Health Accreditation Board accreditation, and grant programs to track progress and demonstrate results. In this session, see how AchieveIt can reduce the manual work of collecting updates and turn performance data into real-time dashboards and reports for staff, partners, and leadership.
2:20-2:25 p.m. | Break
2:25-3:25 p.m. | Performance Management: From Platform to Practice
Hear from four health agencies about their experiences using performance management solutions to support their priorities, track progress, and use data to inform decision-making. Panelists will share practical lessons, approaches, and considerations from implementing and using performance management solutions within their agencies.
