Please join the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) and the Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health (AIM) for a webinar on Tuesday, August 28, from 1:00-2:30 PM ET, as we discuss the role of state health leadership and partnerships in addressing maternal opioid use. This webinar will highlight the AIM patient safety bundle – Obstetric Care for Women with Opioid Use Disorder – and state and national efforts and strategies for addressing substance use disorders, including opioid use and misuse, among women of childbearing age and during pregnancy. The webinar features states that are coordinating efforts and resources to address both neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS) and maternal opioid dependency or have begun to lay the groundwork to coordinate care for both mom and baby.
