Working to prevent unintentional and intentional injury
ASTHO's President's Challenge is focused this year on injury prevention. A different issue, and relevant resources, is highlighted each month.
About
ASTHO supports injury and violence prevention efforts by identifying best practices and tracking policy initiatives nationwide. Some of the areas we focus on include assault and homicide, bullying, child maltreatment, child passenger safety, domestic and intimate partner violence, drowning, falls, firearm safety, fires and burns, motor vehicle safety, pedestrian and bike safety, poisonings, sexual assault and rape, smart growth and community design, suicide and self-inflicted injuries, teen driving, youth violence and more.
