Public Health HR Directors Meeting May 15-16

A Future with Fewer Public Health Professionals and Increased Public Health Needs (Arlington, VA) March 13, 2008 – New data from a survey by the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) shows that the public health workforce is shrinking, the pool of new public health professionals is limited, and states are at a disadvantage in competing for the few workers available.
