Presentations from Past Annual DPHP Meetings
Each year, ASTHO hosts the Directors of Public Health Preparedness Meeting. This meeting brings together representatives from the states, directly funded cities, and territories, as well as federal partners from the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Preparedness and Response (ASPR), CDC, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and FEMA. Partner organizations such as the Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL), the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), the Association of Schools of Public Health (ASPH), and the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) also attend. For the past two years, the meeting has been co-located with the ASTHO Annual State Environmental Health Directors Meeting to allow for joint sessions and networking opportunities. This tradition of networking, information sharing, and collaboration has been the hallmark of past DPHP meetings.
